I recently took a trip to Southeast Arkansas, visiting towns such as Monticello, Hamburg, and ending in Little Rock. It's a slower paced life where drugstore soda fountains still exist. Victorian homes line several of the streets of Monticello, along with the Trotter House Bed & Breakfast and Drew County Historical Museum. As one can imagine, the small towns of Southeast Arkansas consist of lots of wide open space and beautiful, rustic scenery. I had a good time photo documenting the trip, enjoy.
Santa Fe
It's been a few years since we last visited Santa Fe in the summer, and I'm itching to go back! What a place. Magical. Beautiful. Artsy...and the list goes on. One of my dearest friends parents head there every summer, and we took the short flight out to visit them. The B&B we stayed at was adorable! It was in walking distance to the main area of town, the Plaza, where you could find museums, shops, restaurants and grassy areas. We did a lot of sightseeing and walking around, which included visiting the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, Loretto Chapel, the funky little town of Madrid, and lots of other places. The wildfires were out-of-control this summer, which I took a few photos of. I had a great time photo documenting the trip, which you can view below.
